September 23, 2009 - Two new tenants, Rhino Red Lion, d/b/a Planet Fitness, and RL Cheesesteaks, LLC, d/b/a Wit or Witout Cheesesteaks, have signed leases for 30,258 SF at the 224,269 square foot Red Lion Plaza located at Red Lion Road and Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia, PA. The center is now 100 percent leased.
Jed Masloff and Jim Creed of Fameco Real Estate represented the landlord in both transactions, while Randy Hope of Metro Commercial represented Rhino Red Lion. Red Lion Plaza is owned by Onyx Equities, LLC.
Located on Red Lion Road and Roosevelt Boulevard and visible to road traffic, the 224,269 square foot Red Lion Shopping Plaza was built in 1970 and has been recently renovated to include a new facade, landscaping upgrades and parking lot resurfacing. Red Lion Plaza is located within close proximity to Routes 532 and 63, Interstate 95 and the Northeast Philadelphia Airport, with regional access for shoppers provided along Roosevelt Boulevard. With over 100,000 cars passing by the Red Lion Plaza daily, the shopping center's key anchor tenants include American Signature Furniture, Best Buy, Staples and Pep Boys.
