John A. Saraceno, Jr. is the Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Onyx Equities, LLC. John was a founding member and Chief Investment Officer of Ivy Equities, LLC. As the Chief Investment Officer of Ivy Equities, John was primarily responsible for all acquisition, disposition and finance for and on behalf of Ivy Equities. From Ivy’s inception in 1995 through 2004, John was responsible for the purchase of more than 4 million square feet of commercial properties valued in excess of $1 billion located throughout the tri-state region. In addition, John was responsible for procuring and developing many institutional equity relationships with firms such as Urdang Realty Advisors, Rockwood Capital, Barrow Street Capital, Clarion Capital and Geometry Realty Advisors.
Some of the more prominent deals completed by John include Meadows Office Complex, a 600,000 square foot office park located in Rutherford, New Jersey; Rockaway 80 Corporate Center, a 260,000 square foot trophy Class A office property in Rockaway, New Jersey; the Metro Park Office Center, a 750,000 square foot office park located in Woodbridge, New Jersey; and the Sears department store, a retail and structured parking complex located in the heart of the White Plains, New York CBD.
